Phoenix Voices, LLC is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Grant Writer to help secure funding that supports our mission of amplifying diverse voices, expanding literacy initiatives, and growing our publishing programs.

As our Grant Writer, you will research funding opportunities, prepare compelling grant proposals, manage application deadlines, and help build relationships with foundations, corporations, and government funding organizations. Your work will directly support our publishing divisions, literacy partnerships, community outreach programs, author initiatives, and charitable anthology projects.

Responsibilities

  • Research local, state, federal, and private grant opportunities.

  • Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals.

  • Develop proposal narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation.

  • Track grant deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements.

  • Maintain a grant calendar and funding database.

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify funding priorities.

  • Assist with grant reporting and compliance after awards are received.

  • Build and maintain relationships with funding organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous grant writing experience with a successful funding history preferred.

  • Excellent writing, research, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Experience with nonprofit, educational, literacy, arts, or publishing grants is a plus.

  • Knowledge of grant management software is beneficial but not required.

Grant Writer

Phoenix Voices, LLC is seeking two talented Graphic Designers to help bring stories to life through eye-catching visuals. If you have a passion for design, creativity, and the publishing industry, we'd love to have you on our team.

Our Graphic Designers work closely with authors and staff to create professional marketing materials and publishing assets that capture readers' attention and strengthen our brand.

Responsibilities

  • Design promotional graphics for social media, websites, and advertising campaigns.

  • Create book marketing materials, including banners, posters, flyers, and digital ads.

  • Design author promotional graphics and event materials.

  • Produce graphics for newsletters, blogs, and email marketing campaigns.

  • Develop branded graphics that align with Phoenix Voices, LLC's visual identity.

  • Collaborate with editors, marketing staff, and authors on creative projects.

  • Prepare print-ready files when needed.

  • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with graphic design for digital and print media.

  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Affinity Designer, or similar design software.

  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and branding.

  • Ability to take creative direction while contributing original ideas.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Publishing, marketing, or book industry experience is a plus.

Graphic Designers

Phoenix Voices, LLC is looking for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Social Media Specialist to help grow our online presence and connect readers, authors, and the literary community with our brands.

As our Social Media Specialist, you'll create engaging content, manage multiple social media platforms, promote books and authors, and help expand our audience through strategic marketing and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule engaging content across multiple social media platforms.

  • Develop graphics, short-form videos, and promotional materials.

  • Promote book releases, author events, newsletters, and company announcements.

  • Manage and grow our social media communities.

  • Respond to comments, messages, and audience engagement professionally.

  • Monitor social media trends and recommend new marketing ideas.

  • Track analytics and provide monthly performance reports.

  • Collaborate with authors and internal teams to create promotional campaigns.

  • Assist with live events, online launches, and virtual promotions when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing business social media accounts.

  • Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube.

  • Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar design software.

  • Strong writing and communication skills.

  • Ability to create engaging graphics and short-form video content.

  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools is a plus.

  • A passion for books, publishing, and storytelling is highly preferred.
